Forget the memories that continually bother You -PART-I

Mental Disease - Current Scenario-PART-II

Life is beautiful, we get it only once, and we all want to make it the best. Life is like a sea in which we are sometimes above or sometimes below. But the way we celebrate our achievements, in the same way we should be patient in failures as these are the experiences we get in life that make us courageous and strong.

Whether we are rich or poor, we all have to face different problems in our life in different ways. But sometimes these bad days leave a very deep impact on our memories and it becomes very difficult for us to forget them. It is true that it is not easy to forget such memories, but not impossible. Your birth was the best memorable moment for your parents, but do they celebrate it every day? The answer is no, then why do we mourn our problems over and over again. Due to the part called hippocampus in our brain, we remember all these things.

Actually any action is the result of our reaction. Versatility, absence-generosity, inhibition, audacity, suggestion, remorse and persistence are the only ones responsible for our memories when a person is unable to remember any kind of information, or an event such as an anniversary, birthday, etc. Some of these are also responsible for everyday memories and idiotic work. I have discussed here some better ways to get rid of such memories.

Apart from detailed information on forgetting things, I have outlined some better and easier methods here. These will help you in analyzing your problems and will help you to think practically and forget problems automatically.

Give yourself another chance to move on

Only after making a mistake do we realize that we have made a mistake, and by then we are too late to rectify it, and it turns into a dark day of our life. It becomes very difficult for us to forget it, and we always think about it.

Now we discuss achievements. Let me tell you about one of my achievements, when I was in KG class, I got a prize, certificate and a medal for eating more buns in a very short time which I still have. I was very happy that day because I had achieved this achievement and I was on top. But today the scenario is that I have become very fat and whenever someone asks me about that achievement, I feel very ashamed to tell about it. Now that same achievement means nothing to me. Likewise, there is nothing that bad that happened to you will be with you forever as a bad experience.

This is life, and it shows you a lot, some of us lose our parents at a very young age and some in a very short time. It is true that everyone has to go one day, no one comes to live with us. Similarly, we also have problems, which come for some time and leave a bad impression on you. Some events happen for good reason, to make you stronger and to remember. If you fail in this, then it is a warning to you that your preparation was not up to that level.

Some people complain that they tried to forget more than five times but they could not, so they have only one option left to think and cry about those evil days. But can you live like this; the answer is quite simple "No". So better than this you give yourself another chance to move forward.

Create schedule

Immediately after a bad day, you create a new schedule and follow it well. It may be that you live alone, yet you have many things like cooking, cleaning and many other things. The busier you keep yourself, the easier you will forget things. So you keep doing various things and in fact they will be very helpful for you.

Do not spend your free time thinking, because when you are empty, they will automatically lead you to those memories. So you try watch T.V. F.M. Listen, chat with your friends, play games or take some time out for your hobbies. All this will keep you busy and make it easier to forget those things.

It is believed that in the Indian holy book, "Bhagavad Gita", it is mentioned about addressing all kinds of human problems. You must read it once, it will definitely help you, it is also available online in many languages, trust me it will definitely be helpful for you.

Make up your mind

It takes time to do any work, so without disappointing, you take a little time. There are two aspects to everything, if you want, you can also show your other aspects.

For example, a science competition was held in which the winner would be sent on a trip to NASA. You also decided to participate in it. You may get many such opportunities, but the main thing is how you react to it. Suppose you prepared well yet you could not get the award. What will you do then

It is very easy; you try to know whether the questions asked in the competition were of your level? Did you cover those parts? What do you think about the competition pattern?

If the answer to most of your questions is yes, then you are very lucky that you have a definite idea for it and you should definitely prepare well for the next year. And even if you do not have answers to most of your questions, you should be happy that it was completely out of your reach and you start your preparation in a different way.

All these things will help you forget what happened to you, and it can be done in many ways. As if it was an accident or a bad day. For this, you ask yourself what you have to do and this will make everything clear about what you have to do. Yes, it is possible that such things cannot be forgotten immediately, but once you get the right answers to your questions, you will be able to forget those things easily.

When it comes to meditation we feel like, oh hell I'm fine and what do I need? But most of us practice only some part of meditation, and they think that is enough. By meditating, all kinds of bad thoughts are erased inside you and help you to develop new feelings in life.

We are born and when we travel the journey of life and death, we face many ups and downs. The holy Bhagavad Gita describes the life of man and how to react to success and failure in them. People should give a similar response to their success or failure. This brings uniformity in life. Man should practice daily the process of meditation step by step. This changes the balance and way of thinking in life, and he can easily overcome his problems and lead a normal life.

Train the brain

Train your brain like this story.

Once a man went to an ashram and asked a saint. Sir, I want to get rid of my problems but it does not leave me, it is available wherever I go. Because of this I feel very sad and my problems are growing in my mind, I need your help. Please get me out of this problem.

The saint asked the man to climb on the tree with a smile and with the help of hands, hanging from the tree branch. The man went and hanged like that, and when he felt tension in his hands. Then the saint asked him to leave the branch and he came down on the ground because he was not very high. And the saint asked him who was in your hands and who left you? Then the man said, the branch was in my hands and I held it and then I left it.

Similarly, we bear our problems ourselves, they do not come with us till we bring them together. So you should avoid them and try to keep them away from your memories. We constantly think about our problem, and the matter grows. When you do not want to get out of the house, no one can take you out. Therefore, forget the bad things and inspire your brain to move forward.

Make some positive changes

It is a human tendency to get bored by doing the same thing every day. So you can make some changes in your routine, the wardrobe, the colors of the rooms and the seating methods, this can be a good way for you. Because of this small change you will feel good and different and will help you to forget bad things easily. Always choose bright colors on your clothes and walls. Bright colors are always good for you.

Do not repeat the mistake

Just as we are not always excited about an achievement, similarly we should not cry or be sad about the same thing.

For example, I am a university topper, and when I heard it at the convocation, I had no words to express my feelings that day. There is no doubt that it was my most wonderful day, but now I do not feel the same happiness. When I do not remember my achievements and do not celebrate every day, why should we remember the bad day. Always learn from your bad days and try not to make that mistake again.

Side effects of Bad memories

This hinders your progress, because you think the same thing over and over again and cannot do anything new.

Always be ready to retreat, because as a student, if your marks in the exam are low and you keep thinking about the same, then you will not be able to prepare for the upcoming exam and your friends will get ahead of you because their preparation first. Is from

You can lose better opportunities, we should learn from our failures and keep preparing for the future. Life is like a cricket field and Baal is like a chance and the fielder knows when to catch him. So if you lose your time in bad memories then you will lose many opportunities.

Affects Health, there is a Hindi saying by Kabir Das ji, "Worry affects your knowledge", while over-thinking affects your health, and eliminates sin Lakshmi.

Excessive thinking causes depression and can also cause suicidal thoughts.

Benefits of forgetting bad memories from your memories

God knows what he created the memory, which makes things forget after a certain time. It is very necessary to move forward in life. There are many success stories that are possible only by forgetting bad memories. See here ...

Mark Zuckerberg has faced many failures in his life, but without learning anything from those mistakes, he has today made his name like a brand. So was it a good decision or a bad one? Similarly, there are many names that did not inherit success, they forgot the bad things and wrote a new chapter.

Alibaba founder Jack Ma was a loser many times, he failed more than ten times, yet he moved forward with a renewed vigor by shoring up his bad memories and days. Just by searching on the Internet, you will find thousands of names, who, without thinking too much, have forgotten the things and have progressed towards their success.

Incidentally it makes you strong, and if you face that situation again, it will not break you again, it makes you strong and gives strength to your mind. Bad memories give a lot of pain but it also teaches us a lot. Therefore, think about bad memories and learn from them and prepare future plans.

It has been observed in research that when we stay away from negative things, our brain works better. So if you want your brain to work properly, it is better that you do not think about bad things.

Bad memories do not allow our brain to function properly and also affects your work and performance. Why should we ruin our future due to an accident or bad memories. Keep yourself away from such bad thoughts and move forward.

You are a complete person and no one can make you sad or make you cry unless you want to do it yourself. You become strong and try to fight your problems. We face many problems and learn from them. When a child learns to walk he falls hundreds of times, and sometimes he gets hurt but he stands up and starts walking again. Be like a child in your life and I am sure you will start enjoying your life and forget all your pains and worries. Be healthy and happy as a healthy body keeps a healthy mind and it definitely helps you.

Mental Disease - Current Scenario

According to a recent report released by the World Health Organization (WHO), around 7.5 percent of Indians suffer from some form of mental disorder. Also, according to WHO estimates, by the year 2020, about 20 percent of India's population will suffer from mental illnesses. Despite such a large number of mental patients, till now it has not been recognized as a disease in India, even today mental health is completely neglected here and it is considered imaginary. Whereas the truth is that just as physical diseases can be harmful to us, similarly mental diseases can also adversely affect our health.

How is mental health defined?

Mental health includes our emotional, psychological and social well-being. It affects our ability to think, understand, feel and act.

Significantly, the World Health Organization (WHO) includes physical health as well as mental health in its definition of health.

Mental health problems and side effects

According to the World Health Organization, depression will be the second biggest problem worldwide by the year 2020.

It has been proved in many researches that depression is the main cause of heart related diseases.

Mental illness gives rise to many social problems like unemployment, poverty and intoxication.

India and Mental Disease - Current Scenario

According to the WHO, India has the highest number of people suffering from mental illnesses.

Statistics suggest that suicide is the leading cause of death among people aged 15–29 years in India.

On the basis of the above facts, it would not be an exaggeration to say that India is moving towards a serious mental health epidemic.

Shortage of mental health workers is also an important topic in India. According to the World Health Organization, in the year 2011, there were 0.301 psychiatrists and 0.07 psychiatrists for every 100,000 patients suffering from mental health disorders in India.

Census 2011 data shows that about 1.5 million people in India have intellectual disability and about 722,826 people with psycho social disabilities.

Despite this, the expenditure on mental health in India is only 1.3 percent of the total government health expenditure.

Also, the 2011 census data shows that about 78.62 percent people suffering from mental diseases are unemployed.

Lack of awareness regarding mental disorders is also a major challenge facing India. Due to lack of awareness and ignorance in the country, a person suffering from any kind of mental health disorder is considered 'crazy' and is treated like animals against his will.

Mentally ill people in India either do not have the necessary care facilities and even if they have facilities, their quality is not good.

Mental health challenges and issues

Statistics show that the suicide rate of women in India is much higher than men. The origin of which is considered domestic violence, marriage at a young age, youth motherhood and economic dependence on others. Women are more sensitive than men in terms of mental health. But this issue has become so common in our society that people do not pay attention to it.

Social misconceptions related to mental health disorders are also a major challenge in India. In India, for example, suicide was considered a crime till the year 2017 and a maximum of 1 year of imprisonment was made for it under the IPC. While many psychologists have proven that depression, stress and anxiety may be some of the major reasons behind suicide.

It is important to note that India also lacks the necessary capabilities to address mental health issues. Statistics show that in the year 2017, there were only 5,000 psychiatrists and less than 2,000 psychologists for the large population of India.

The economy also suffers due to mental health issues not being addressed properly.

This not only damages the human capital of the country but also worsens the economic condition of the affected person, because all the facilities available for the treatment of this disease are relatively expensive.

According to the WHO, mental health disorders have the greatest impact on the youth and as the majority of the population of India is young, this poses a major challenge.

If a person once suffers from a mental illness, then he has to live with this same life all his life, even if he gets rid of that disease. Even today, it is very challenging for these types of people to join the mainstream of society.

Lack of awareness regarding mental disorders and symptoms often leads to a difference between the patient and others in society and the patient faces social isolation, which can worsen his condition.

Determinations so far

The Government of India started the National Mental Health Program (NMHP) in the year 1982 with an aim to improve the mental health situation in the country and bring awareness in this regard. It is important to note that there are mainly 3 components to this program:

  •         Treatment of mentally ill person

  •         Rehabilitation

  •         Mental Health Promotion and Prevention

The Mental Health Act (MHA-87) was enacted in the year 1987.

In the year 1996, the District Mental Health Program (DMHP) was launched to make mental health services up to the primary level of the country.

The Mental Health Care Act, 2017 replaced the Mental Health Act, 1987 in the year 2017.

Additionally the WHO supports governments with the goal of strengthening and promoting mental health.

In 2013, the World Health Assembly approved the 'Comprehensive Mental Health Action Plan for 2013-2020'. Under this scheme, all the member countries of WHO had expressed their commitment to work in the field of mental health and to raise awareness.

Mental Health Care Act 2017

The main objective of this Act, implemented in the year 2017, is to provide mental health protection and services to people suffering from mental diseases. Also, the Act also ensures the right of mental patients to live life with dignity.

According to this act, 'mental illness' refers to disorders related to thoughts, mood, sensation and memory, etc. which cause difficulty in the normal functions of our life such as decision making and identification of reality.

Rights of mentally ill person
  1. The Act ensures that every person will have the right to access mental health services.

  2. The Act also empowered free treatment to all people below the poverty line.

  3. As per the Act, every mentally ill person shall have the right to live life with dignity and no discrimination shall be made on any basis including gender, religion, culture, caste, social or political beliefs, class or disability.

  4. A mentally ill person will have the right to maintain confidentiality in relation to their mental health, treatment and physical healthcare.

  5. A photograph or any other information related to a mentally ill person cannot be made public without its consent.

Advance directive

A person suffering from mental illnesses will have the right to give advance instructions explaining how and how to treat his illness and who will be his designated representative in this context.

Suicide is not a crime

A person attempting suicide will be treated as suffering from mental illness and will not be punished under the Indian Penal Code. The act amended section 309 of the Indian Penal Code, which earlier considered suicide a crime.

  •     The problem related to mental health in the country is constantly increasing. In such a situation it is necessary to develop the above mentioned capabilities and increase the resources.

  •     Raising awareness in this regard can also be an important step, as many patients have to deal with inhumane behavior due to lack of awareness.

  •     The World Bank estimates that 90 percent of the world's health needs can be met at the primary level, but statistics show that the primary level of health care infrastructure in India is very weak and there is only one in every 51000 people Only primary health center exists. Therefore, it is necessary to invest on the construction of Primary Health Centers.

  •     Health care is a subject of the state list and hence there is a need for proper coordination between the state and the center to deal with its challenges.

  •     Government financial support can also play an important role in this regard.
